Skills-Building Workshops address common presentation and speaking topics like Planning and Preparing Powerful, Effective Presentations, Transforming Fear and Anxiety into Energized Confidence, Connecting with and Persuading Your Audience, and more.

Content-Based Workshops are customized for you and your team’s specific needs. We may focus on preparing for an in-house conference, all-employee meeting, town halls, or awards event, a pitch to investors, leading meetings, or facilitating training.

From 1 to 100+ participants, Speaktopia workshops help teams and company-wide groups level up their public speaking and online presentation skills. For larger groups, participants may work in small group break-out sessions of 3 – 5 people, receiving direct peer feedback, and leave with tools they can use immediately.

Workshops are customized to the group’s needs, including the level of formality, experience, method, and schedule. Before the workshop, we’ll review any upcoming speaking events and presentation materials. We’ll also learn about your organization, culture, goals, audiences, challenges, and so as it applies to the training.

Speaktopia workshops include stimulating activities, role-play exercises, and recorded practice presentations. Benefit from direct coaching in small breakout sessions and experience the power of the group in a fun and dynamic learning environment. Depending on the size of your group, the workshop’s length, and most importantly, your organization’s goals, your workshop activities might include:

First, you and I will discuss your training/workshop needs. We’ll discuss your organization’s culture, training purpose, participants' skill levels and attitudes, and workshop logistics such as size, length, location, and budget.

I’ll then put together a plan that summarizes our discussion and offers my initial thoughts about what the workshop(s) should include. If what I propose sounds right to you, we’ll set a date and take it from there.

Private coaching works well for anyone who wants individualized, private training in a one-on-one setting. Workshops, however, offer one real advantage--the group setting. Being in a group allows you to face and learn from some of the biggest challenges of public speaking. An effective method of developing public speaking skills is to practice in a group setting (aka – public speaking😉 ) and then applies those strategies to the real world. Customized workshop for teams also helps build team cohesion and trust through sharing common challenges and experiences.
